The outside world is full of ice, snow and slush, so I won't be wearing these loafers until spring at this rate. Anyway shoes this elegant aren't for running to the supermarket! They fit my narrow feet well and will probably need a little braking in but I know in the long run they will be enormously comfortable. I had a similar pair when my feet were a half size smaller and had been looking to replace them for some time. However, over $200 a pair is too rich for my budget so I was totally delighted when they were on sale for 60 % off and I could use some gift certificates and credit card bonuses! Amazon sent me an email about their 60% off sale and while that can be a little annoying sometimes, at others it is like getting a call from a dear friend!I had to send these back. However, maybe my feet have grown. Several years ago I wore these quite often and I loved them! This color of brown went with almost anything. Being a woven leather they do stretch which I found wonderful. They formed to my foot but did not stretch too large. These however were stiff. I may have to try again in a larger size as they are beautiful shoes. Super... nice...This is a beautiful shoe! The leather is so rich, and the basket-weave design makes the look even more luxurious. I gave this loafer a "Couple hours" rating in the comfortable-wearing-time category, but that's because they're new. I've found that high-quality leather will mold to your foot, so I prefer to start off with them a little snug. In time, they will fit like fine leather gloves.Have not worn them yet, but the fit is fine and Sesto Meucci's are always classy looking shoesExcellent shoe. Second time ordering. Great fit & style. With frequent wear, the sole only last 1 year.I've purchased this shoe three times - - each pair lasts two years. After one year of wear, I get them resoled ($35 or so) to get two years of wear. The classic styling is timeless and the colors are the basics for ladies' (dark brown, black, and navy). I regularly use leather cleaner and leather moisturizer to the extend wear.I love the shoe but the fit is not so great. The 7.5, which I usually wear was tight and the 8 is very loose I. The heel. I am going to try and make them work because I love the shoe. But the sizing needs some work.
